"When I began researching the purchase of a car in Portugal, I quickly realized that being a foreigner put me at a huge disadvantage. I mean, how was I even going to make calls on listings, let alone negotiate in a language I don’t speak, in an often dishonest industry and within a business system I knew nothing about?
